Fair terms, plainly put.
These terms cover your use of the Jaymail apps and website during early access. They are written to be read, not to hide things. Your mailbox itself is governed by your mailbox provider’s own terms — Jaymail is the interface.

Who we are
Jaymail is developed and operated by JD Studio (Jordy Dost), based in the Netherlands. You can reach us at jd@jdstudio.app.
What Jaymail is
Jaymail is an email interface — web and native apps — for a supported mailbox you already have with a mailbox provider. Jaymail is not a mailbox service: we do not host, own or operate your mailbox, and your relationship with your provider (including its terms, pricing and data handling) is separate from these terms.
Your access
During early access, Jaymail is available by invite. Your access right is personal and non-transferable; keep your access code to yourself. We may suspend or revoke access that is shared, resold or used in breach of these terms. Revoking Jaymail access never deletes or changes the mailbox at your provider — you keep your mail either way.
Your mailbox stays yours
Your messages, contacts and calendar data belong to you and live at your provider. We claim no rights to them beyond what is technically needed to display and transmit them at your request, as described in the privacy policy. You can disconnect a mailbox or stop using Jaymail at any time.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Jaymail for unlawful activity, or to send spam or malicious content.
- Don’t probe, overload or attempt to break the security of the service — report weaknesses instead (see responsible disclosure).
- Don’t automate access in ways that burden the service or circumvent access controls.
Early access, honestly
Jaymail is provided “as is” during early access. Features may change, break or be removed while we build; we publish availability on thestatus pageand changes in the changelog. We work hard to be reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation during this phase.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, JD Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of Jaymail during early access, and any liability is limited to what mandatory law requires. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or affects statutory rights you hold as a consumer.
Ending things
You can stop using Jaymail whenever you want; disconnecting your mailbox and deleting the apps is enough, and you can ask us to revoke your access and remove the data we hold about your access. We may end or pause the early-access program with reasonable notice where possible. Your mailbox at your provider is untouched in every case.
Changes and law
We will update these terms as the product grows and note the date above; material changes will be called out before they take effect where reasonably possible. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes belong to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
